Fillers

Plump, Smooth, Rejuvenate

Offered at our convenient location in Sonoma County, CA

Facial bones diminish in size and shape with age, reducing facial definition and leaving space for the skin to stretch and wrinkle. (1) With fillers, the added volume causes the skin to stretch tighter around it. This reduces wrinkles and fades fine lines by making them more shallow.

At Allegro MedSpa, we offer dermal filler procedures that will freshen up your face and leave you looking younger and feeling great. For more information about fillers in Santa Rosa, call us at (707) 537-2123 or fill out this form.

From Sunken to Supple

What are dermal fillers?

A dermal filler is a cosmetic injection that adds volume and contours to the face in order to smooth the skin and refine your appearance. As a great way to deal with the wrinkles, fine lines, and facial volume loss that come with age, receiving injectables like Juvéderm, Restylane, and RHA fillers is a safe and low-commitment way to beautify your face!

Types of Dermal Fillers

At Allegro MedSpa, most of our fillers contain hyaluronic acid. This is a substance that occurs naturally in the skin, allowing it to dissolve several months up to two years after injection. Unlike cosmetic surgery and other cosmetic procedures, you need not worry about making permanent changes to your appearance.

At Allegro MedSpa, we offer several types of fillers.

The Revance RHA Collection

The Revance RHA dermal filler collection is the latest advancement in hyaluronic acid (HA) filler science. Designed to adapt to facial movement, the RHA collection is resilient and dynamic by design. For this reason, Revance’s RHA fillers are the first and only FDA-approved fillers for the correction of dynamic wrinkles, or those wrinkles that appear when forming facial expressions (rather than static wrinkles, which are etched into the skin). They also have a longer-lasting effect than most other fillers. We can use the RHA filler collection in fine, moderate, and deep wrinkles, including in the nasolabial folds. The makers of RHA, Revance, recently introduced a new neuromodulator called Daxxify™ (Daxibotulinumtoxin A).

Putting It All Together

What is the dermal filler procedure like?

Preparation

We will give you personalized instructions to follow before your first appointment. These may include a specific skin care routine to conduct before your session. Generally, we recommend not smoking or drinking alcohol for 24 hours before the procedure, as these substances can lower your ability to heal and recover.

Fillers Procedure

Your dermal filler procedure will be incredibly simple, just sit back and receive your treatment from one of our expert injectors! You may request numbing cream to reduce discomfort if you do dislike the feeling of injections. Your procedure will involve a specific type of dermal filler that you will have chosen with our guidance beforehand.

Corresponding & Complementary Procedures

At Allegro Medspa, we offer alternative procedures that can work in combination with fillers or achieve similar results on their own. To see what else we’re up to at Allegro MedSpa, visit our blog!

Botox

Botox is an injection procedure that uses botulinum to smooth wrinkles and provide a more youthful appearance. Injection of botulinum acts as a neuromodulator of the face muscles. It causes facial muscles and the skin covering them to relax. This has the effect of reducing wrinkles by stopping the contraction of your facial muscles. Botox is an effective alternative to fillers if you want to get rid of your wrinkles and look younger.

Chemical Peel

Chemical Peels can help to reduce the appearance of skin flaws, such as fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and more. This treatment works by removing your outermost layer of skin. During recovery your skin will naturally heal itself, causing natural rejuvenation. Chemical peels will make your skin look smoother and glow brighter. Used in combination with your fillers, your face can become even more fresh and fair.

Volume Virtuoso

What are the benefits of fillers?

Fillers are a straightforward, versatile tool for rejuvenating your appearance. They can be injected into the lips, cheeks, temples, jawline, nasolabial folds and the perioral area around the mouth. (2) A typical dermal filler treatment will address one or more of these areas, depending on the cosmetic goals of the patient. This allows for the optimization of treatment results in the pursuit of facial rejuvenation.

Fillers can reduce the visible effects of aging in a simple, minimally-invasive procedure. They can also refine the beauty of your face by reshaping it with added volume. With little commitment required, no downtime required, and a simple treatment process, they are a great way to refine your face.

Your Facial Rejuvenation Journey

Who is a candidate for fillers?

An ideal candidate for fillers will be curious about their face’s beauty potential. If you’re wondering how much better you could look with an in-office cosmetic treatment, but you don’t like the thought of a surgical procedure, fillers could be right for you.

Fillers are best for patients who are relatively healthy and do not smoke. While there are rarely complications or side effects from this treatment, it is best that you are capable of recovering and healing quickly.

You should only receive fillers if you have a realistic outlook about what they can do for you.

One other indication for fillers is a condition that can result from the rapid weight loss medications used in the treatment of diabetes as well as an adjunct for weight loss. The relatively rapid weight loss can lead to a deflation of the soft tissues of the face, giving an aged look to the face. Dermal fillers and facial fat transfers can help restore volume to the face, mitigating the effects.

Facial Harmony

Dermal Filler Recovery & Results

You can resume everyday activities immediately after your appointment. Some redness, swelling or bruising may occur around your injection points. These symptoms should go away after a few hours. If you experience bruising around your injection points, this can be easily covered up with makeup. We recommend that you avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours after your treatment. You should sleep on your back with your face pointing upwards during the first night after your treatment.

After you receive your fillers, you may notice some immediate changes in your appearance. The full effects of the procedure will be visible after one or two weeks. The cosmetic results of dermal filler injections can last for six months to up to two years, depending on the formulation and your metabolism.
