How Does Geneo Skin Treatment Work?

Glo2Facial treatments include three steps for skin rejuvenation:

The combination of these three steps creates a well-rounded facial experience that revitalizes the skin with just one treatment. It cleanses, exfoliates, and hydrates the treatment area, allowing for overall skin improvement and rejuvenation. With the addition of customized pods full of active ingredients, the facial uses CO2 bubbles, micro-vibrations, and a lymphatic massage to improve the look and feel of the skin.

Step 1: Oxfoliation

Studies have shown that an increase of oxygen in the skin leads to a perceived healthier appearance. ⁽¹⁾ Glo2Facial treatments deliver medical-grade facials with Geneo’s patented oxfoliation system to trigger the body’s physiological process to produce more oxygen from underneath the skin’s surface. The CO2 bubbles react with the Primer Gel to cause a gentle yet effective exfoliation, as well as induce an environment rich with CO2 to increase the oxygen in the skin. 

Exfoliation is an important step, allowing the skin to be primed for delivery of the active ingredients found in the pods. The increase in oxygen makes the skin the perfect environment for further nourishment from the inside out. ⁽²⁾

Step 2: Lux

After exfoliation, Glo2Facial uses very light ultrasound technology to create targeted micro-vibrations in the skin. Step 3: Detox

The last step of the facial is a lymphatic massage. Preparation

To best prepare for your Glo2Facial, come to your personal consultation with clean skin, free of makeup and debris. Though the treatment will thoroughly cleanse your face, this allows for a blank canvas and can promote a more thorough skin evaluation before your facial. This treatment is non-invasive, so there is no need to alter any medications or habits in order to receive a successful facial. 

Recovery & Results

After your Glo2Facial is finished, you may reapply any makeup and go about your day as usual. Many patients can see a difference in their skin’s quality and radiance after just one treatment. To keep your results looking fresh, Glo2Facial can be repeated when necessary. We recommend up to four treatments a month to align with the skin’s natural cell reproduction schedule. Implementing a good skin care and sunscreen routine will help you preserve your results in between treatments. 

Complementary Treatments

Since Glo2Facial treatments are non-invasive and safe, they are a great addition to other, moderately–invasive treatments that we perform at Allegro MedSpa. We provide microneedling and radiofrequency treatments that can work in combination to enhance your Glo2Facial results for longer-lasting rejuvenation.

This treatment utilizes insulated needles to deliver radiofrequency (RF) into the skin without causing overt damage to the barrier. The microneedling is controlled so the RF is swiftly applied to the skin once the needles gently puncture the skin. Combining these two processes allows for increased collagen and elastin fiber production.

Your results from this treatment can be seen in 3 to 4 weeks as your skin regenerates and heals. Combining RF microneedling with a Glo2Facial treatment can help soothe your initial inflammation from the controlled damage, and encourage faster healing with the addition of OxyPod active ingredients.
